Hi! I'm Mel. I'm an artist. I'm a writer. I also teach meditation, which happens to be one of my biggest passions. Why? Because I have experienced firsthand its transformative power. I used to suffer daily from depression and anxiety – I've been in counseling and on medications. But it wasn't until I discovered mindfulness that my life really began to change. And yours can, too. We spend our lives hurried, rushed, anxious, and stressed out. What if you could live a life that brought you more joy? What if you could enjoy the little moments more? The Arrive Project
Have you tried meditation before, but didn’t think it was for you? Have you heard of mindfulness, but don’t know what it’s all about? Have you meditated occasionally in the past, but it just hasn't "stuck"? Meditation is a powerful tool for transformation and contributes immeasurably to well-being. It’s not dreamy, new-agey, or woo-woo. It has practical, scientifically proven benefits. It's my mission to demystify it, strip away common myths, and help others to discover the benefits for themselves. Arrive is a mindfulness project that I developed to help you find what works for YOU. The way we do this is through experimentation with different techniques, community interaction, and a little bit of accountability. Arrive online is guided meditations and insights, but I also teach meditation and mindfulness workshops locally in Taos, New Mexico, where the project is based. Future plans include an online course and a program for schoolchildren! You in? AWESOME!
